ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS
Baby Boomers and Beyond
At the Y, we are focused on healthy living at all ages. Physical fitness and an active lifestyle has been proven to help prevent heart disease, prevent multiple cancers, reduce stress, and increase life expectancy. The benefits of belonging to the Y keep getting better with age.
There are 10,080 minutes in a week. Can you find 150 to dedicate to a physical fitness or activity program at the Y? If you provide the time, the Y will provide all the programs, plans, and coaching you need to get fit and stay fit.
Tying our shoes, jumping out of bed, completing everyday chores, and visiting our families and friends are things we want to do as we age. At the YMCA, we design programs that create a foundation to help us move and age gracefully. Our expert coaching staff are here to help you reach the most simple or complex goals.
