CT Esports Academy
Meet friends while playing video games in-person at CTEA! We’re a LAN Gaming Center here at the Wilton YMCA, building programs for competitive and casual gamers alike. Esports Academy is a Community Esports space for gamers of all skills and ages to enjoy in person gaming and improve their skills. We run weekly gaming tournaments, STEM Classes, Afterschool Clubs, and our National Esports team all under one roof at your local YMCA! Whether you are interested in esports or just looking for a place to game with friends and family, come and check out the CTEA Esports Room at the Wilton Y.
Check out our Club Esports Teams, CT Storm. We work with collegiate coaches to get kids who are interested in esports into a national tournament series that holds three seasons a year. Improve your skill and sharpen your skills against kids at esports facilities all over the country. Attend in person bootcamps and practices to learn the tricks of the trade and improve your esports skills from knowledge to tech to communicating on a team. Play matches weekly on our top of the line PCs with collegiate coaches giving you pointers right then and there. Remember to do your best to bring home the trophy for Wilton, CT!
Enjoy your own setup? No problem, CTEA is here to help you participate on the national scale even if you want to play from home. Starting this fall you can join our CT Storm Esports Teams remote for a reduced price. No need to pay for our bootcamp or additional practice, use your equipment from home and get access to our coaches, discord, and have CTEA handle all of the tournament stuff. WHY CTEA?
We want to create safe environments for adolescents to learn and explore the depths of the Esports world, recognizing the lessons of organized sports and trying to bring that energy of determination, responsibility and discipline to the digital landscape.
In-person gaming also allows for a safer environment to game within with our dedicated staff there not only to improve the skills of the gamers on our teams and in our clubs but by providing a safe environment with maturity filters that follow the guidelines set forth by parents and experts from Common Sense Media and ESRB.

Winter Season
There is a smaller Winter season for the month of January for our Wilton Gamers. Bringing back all of our favorite esports; Fortnite, Valorant, Rocket League, Overwatch 2, or League of Legends. Spring Season
This Spring, prove to everyone that you are the best here at CTEA! Work with collegiate coaches, get experienced VOD reviews and feedback, and level up your skill as you go for the top of the top in the nation on our Fortnite, Valorant, Rocket League, Overwatch 2, or League of Legends teams! Open Play Pass
This spring, we’re taking off all of the limiters. Join our new Open Play program and reap the benefits, from free entry to the Monthly Tournaments to unrestricted access to our Open Play times. There will be Open Play every day of the week and even extra on Fridays. Forgot to sign up beforehand? No problem, we have Drop In pricing as well. For the whole session just pay 10$ as a solo gamer, 15$ for any parties of 2-4, and 25$ if you’re bringing the whole squad (5-6)! Birthday/Rentals
Gaming is the pastime of so many kids around the world, and here in Wilton we want to offer our space on the weekend for those looking to celebrate that joy! Whether it’s a birthday or new game release you want to enjoy alongside all of your friends, rent out the CTEA Wilton Game Room and enjoy some gaming! Minecraft Saturdays
Join us for a relaxing, educational, and social Minecraft Saturday club. We’ll be taking our gamers through the various fun ways to play minecraft, from survival world building to creative design to modding and changing the very code of the game. Relax and hang out with friends with weekly changes to our internal server that build off of the interests of our participants.
