Membership Cancellation

Your membership is active until you ask us to discontinue it. 

If you join as a membership type with a monthly draft (either through credit card or electronic funds transfer), it will be charged as a continuous membership plan. This membership will remain in effect for as long as you maintain current payment. If you wish to terminate your continuous membership plan in any way, you must complete a cancellation request via the Y’s designated membership termination channels. These may include:

Please be aware that cancellation done through email or the completion and submission of a paper form may take 3 days to process. Cancellation can be instant through your Y account. Memberships terminated after your monthly draft will not be refunded a pro-rate for that month. You will not be subject to additional draft’s post successful cancellation.

Any past-due payments must be collected before canceling your membership. Our team may reach out if a member on their unit is enrolled in Y programs at the time of cancellation to address fee differences or requirements for those programs. Cancelling membership does not automatically cancel programs or their drafts.

Annual Memberships
If you join as a membership type with an annual renewal, your membership will be active for one year from the date of annual payment. You will be sent written and electronic notice of your option for renewal. If renewal is not initiated, your membership will be terminated by the Y.

Membership Hold

You may put your membership on hold for up to 3 months a year / one month at a time. We ask for 3 days notice to your draft date to process your hold request.   Please complete and email your Hold Form > to  membership@riverbrookymca.org

Membership Change

If you would like to change your membership type, please fill out this Change Form> and email it to membership@riverbrookymca.org. Alternatively, you can mail or bring the form to the Y’s front desk. Membership type changes may take up to 3 days to process. Copies of this form are also available at the front desk.
