The cooperation of those choosing to play paddle tennis is very important to the safety of our members, staff and the greater community. Broad adherence to the STAGED protocol will help us move as quickly as possible to more liberalized court use.

NOTE: Please use the front entrance to the Y. The reservation system must be used. THE DRIVEWAY TO THE PADDLE COURTS ARE CLOSED.

Please check-in at the Y’s Front Desk.

The courts will soon be open the following hours: 
-Monday – Friday: 8am – 9pm
-Saturday: 8:30am – 5pm
-Sunday: 9:30am – 5pm.

The Hut is open with a maximum of 10 capacity

  • Prior to playing on the paddle courts, please read all the information here, which will also be able for review on the Paddle deck.
  • Do NOT play if you have:
    • Any symptoms of the coronavirus (mild to severe respiratory illness with cough, difficulty breathing, fever, or other symptoms).
    • Been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
  • You must reserve a court at our online Tennis Booking Website. Please provide player names. No “walk-ups” until further notice. Please contact mkazlauskas@riverbrookymca.org if you have trouble logging in.
    • Courts may be reserved for the 90-minute blocks as indicated on the website reservation page.
    • Court lights and heaters will remain OFF.
    • The Paddle Hut Bathroom is open.
    • Paddle Hut gate doors will be remained open.
  • Please use the hand sanitation stations that are secured to the exterior of the Paddle Hut prior to touching handles or playing a match.

  • There is no other permitted use of the courts at this time. Only those with court reservations should be on the courts.

Additional Safety Measures

  • Members are required to wear masks or other face coverings when not on court, i.e., traveling to and from the parking lot or courts, if they cannot maintain 6 feet from others.
  • Players can bring sanitizer for personal use in case YMCA supplied sanitizer is empty. It is crucial that if you touch any of the following items, that you immediately sanitize your hands:
    • Gates/doors
    • Errant balls outside the court – should be retrieved only by the player assigned to them (in the case of non-family singles)
    • Benches – not to be used on site at this time.
    • Net posts, nets and fences should not be touched.
  • Players must bring your own water.
  • No food of any kind should be consumed on court, including bars or fruits.
  • After play is over, all personal items, balls and trash must be carried away by players. Please leave courts promptly. 
  • The following will not be open or available for use by members:
    • Water Fountain
    • Fireplace
    • Refrigerator
