How much does a Wilton YMCA membership cost?
The Y offers many different types of memberships at different rates. Choose from Family (Two adults and all children age 25 and under living in the same household). Adult (ages 26-64), Young Adult (ages 19-25), Senior (age 65+), Senior Family (Two adults, one age 65 or older, living in the same household), Youth (Ages 12-18) and Child (Ages 0-11).

What is included in a Wilton YMCA membership?
Can I try the YMCA before joining?

Can I cancel my YMCA membership anytime?
If you join as a membership type with a monthly draft (either through credit card or electronic funds transfer), it will be charged as a continuous membership plan. This membership will remain in effect for as long as you maintain current payment. If you wish to terminate your continuous membership plan in any way, you must complete a cancellation request via the Y’s designated membership termination channels.

Can I freeze my YMCA membership?
You may put your membership on hold for up to 3 months a year / one month at a time. We ask for 3 days’ notice prior to your draft date to process your hold request. Please complete and email your hold form to membership@riverbrookymca.org

Does the YMCA have family memberships?
Yes, the YMCA has family memberships that include two adults and all children age 25 and under living in the same household. Please see above for family membership benefits.
Do I have to live in Wilton to join the Wilton Y?
No, everyone is welcome and pays the same price for membership.
Can I use other YMCA locations with my membership?
Yes, you may. *Local Y Reciprocity includes: The Westport Weston Family YMCA (The Outdoor Center is not available and only 4 visits a month are allowed – Westport Y members will not have access to the Wilton Y’s outdoor facilities as well), the New Canaan YMCA, the CT Coast Regional YMCA and the Darien YMCA (*some restrictions apply). Please note that under the New England Reciprocal Agreement we ask that you belong to the Y you use most often and limit your reciprocal visits to *8 or less a month (*Number of visits allowed subject to change).
PLEASE NOTE: Silver Sneakers and Renew Active memberships do not include reciprocal visits to other Ys that don’t offer those programs (including above local Ys).
Does the Wilton YMCA have swim lessons for Adults?
Yes, Adult lessons (18 years +) teach beginners the basic swimming skills, water adjustment, and safety. More advanced adults are instructed on improving their swimming abilities by developing better stroke techniques and increasing endurance.
What age should kids start swim lessons?
It depends on the child, but the Y offers SWIM STARTERS 4 – 35 months.

Are swim lessons included with membership?
Swim lessons are not included in membership other than SWIM STARTERS 4 – 35 months. ALL guardian/child swimming lessons are FREE with a Family Membership!

Can a non-member take swim lessons at the Wilton YMCA?
Yes, non-members may take swim lessons at the Y but do not get priority registration.

Does the Wilton YMCA offer Preschool?
Yes, The Wilton YMCA Preschool Program is a state-licensed learning program for 3-5 year olds, with a small teacher to child ratio. The program seeks to provide a nurturing environment that builds upon your child’s natural curiosity, imagination, and creativity.

Does the YMCA offer Afterschool care?
Yes, our Afterschool Program is a safe and inclusive place where your child may participate in both educational and recreational activities. The RRY is a CT State licensed afterschool program serving children in grades K-6. The Afterschool Programs runs from the time of school dismissal until 6:30pm and follows the Wilton public school calendar.
School Bus Drop Off is available from Wilton public schools to the YMCA (404 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT) and Gymnastics Center (644 Danbury Road Wilton, CT).

Do children need to be potty trained?
Yes, children need to be potty trained to enroll in Preschool, Afterschool and Camp programs.
What is Child Watch?
Child Watch is our babysitting program with a mature, experienced staff who take pride in providing loving care for each child so you can have peace of mind while you are working out at the Y, socializing in the lobby or attending a Y program (up to 90 minutes). Parents/ Guardians are required to remain on the Y- 404 Danbury Road- property at all times.

Can I workout while my child is in childcare?
Yes, Child Watch is included in Family membership. Adult members may use Child Watch for a $10 fee per child. Please make payments at the Front Desk and bring your receipt to the Child Watch staff upon arrival. Child Watch is not available to Non-Members, Silver Sneakers, Renew Active or with the Y’s reciprocal program.
Does the Y offer Gymnastics?
Yes, Y’s Gymnastics programs emphasize Individual skill development in a safe, fun and supportive environment. While gymnastics is an extremely demanding sport, our coaching staff wants your child to have a rewarding experience and encourages children of all ages and ability to participate in our program.

Yes, the Wilton Y has 2 pools. An indoor/outdoor 50M pool (covered and heated during the cooler months) and an indoor 25Y pool.
Does the YMCA have a pond?
Yes, the Wilton Y has the Kiwanis pond and beach along with a splash pad with fountains for young children.
Does the YMCA have saunas?
Yes, the Wilton Y has a sauna and steam room in both the men’s and women’s 50M pool locker rooms.

Yes, the Wilton Y has a gymnasium and Fitness Center equipped with the latest cardio machines, strength training equipment, and free weights.

Why is the Wilton YMCA also called the Riverbrook Regional YMCA?
In 2013 the Norwalk YMCA & Wilton Family YMCA merged to form the Riverbrook Regional YMCA under one umbrella. To be inclusive of all our service areas our logo reads; Riverbrook Regional YMCA, Serving Norwalk, Redding, and Wilton. The Wilton branch is located in Wilton CT. In Norwalk we have a floor for programs including STEM, at 98 Main Street in the Norwalk Community Recreation Center. Currently we do not have a facility in Redding, CT. The Riverbrook Regional YMCA is open to all, regardless of where you live, everyone pays the same rate for membership.
